A report on the fall break at CFEE
During the first week of the autumn holidays, we spent a varied leisure program with our 14 registered children.
On Monday we started at Zenja in Langen, where the focus was on environmental protection. The children were informed about how to deal with plastic waste and about plastic-free alternatives. They then created new small works of art from supposed rubbish in an upcycling project.
On Tuesday we were thrilled with our visit to the Deutsche Bank Park and the Eintracht Frankfurt Museum - a real highlight especially for football fans!
In the middle of the week we spent a day at the Birkenhof in Egelsbach. There we got an insight into sustainable farming and species-appropriate animal husbandry.
Thursday was all about the pumpkin market at Farmer Lipp's, where we explored a total of eleven kilometers and the children captured their own memories with disposable cameras. At the end there was a stamp competition in the farmer's corn maze. On the way back the children were able to put what they had learned on Wednesday into practice and were all allowed to pet a dog that we met.
On Friday we carved pumpkins for Halloween and enjoyed a creative lunch of "volcanoes" made of mashed potatoes, garnished with dino nuggets and broccoli. Suddenly broccoli was very popular too... 😊.
A cozy and creative end to an exciting week!
We would like to thank all the organizations that supported us this week and hopefully gave our children unforgettable experiences and memories!
